Delaware County (Oklahoma) Community Town Hall Meeting December 2016

In the summer of 2016 the tribal liaison for the Sasquatch Genome Project (SGP) was contacted by a tribal citizen that lives in Delaware County, Oklahoma and invited him to talk with some of the citizens in the area about all the Bigfoot activity they been having for years. It was decided that a small portion of the project team would travel to Delaware County to visit with some of the citizens and conduct a town hall meeting. December 10, 2016 was chosen and the location for it to be held was the Delaware County Public Library in Jay, Oklahoma.

On December 9th, 2016 several members of the SGP Field Research and Investigation team arrived and met with several citizens, the team learned that there have been Bigfoot activity in the area for many generations. Some report that some local residents have experience some rather negative behavior by the Bigfoots in the area. In more detail they are saying that some local homes are being visited by something that throws rocks at the home, walks on the deck or porch of the home, slaps the side of the home and stands outside and screams so loud that it can be heard over the TV. Some residents have expressed their concern that they are saying some do live in fear and some have no where to turn for help. Of course you could speculate that when law enforcement is called, it is not such priority that patrol officers drop everything to respond to "Bigfoot throwing rocks at my house" who would they call that would get proper response and not laugh at the home owner.

Members of the Sasquatch Genome Project that are also members of the Honobia Bigfoot Conference staff have spent countless hours responding to calls such as this, several members have investigated numerous reports such as these all over Oklahoma and North Texas.

On December 10, 2016 the SGP were on hand at the Delaware County Public Library where little more than 140 people attended, presentation was given by the tribal liaison and field investigator Troy Hudson, brief history and current status of the Sasquatch DNA project was given, along with long-term investigative information that comes from tribal folklore and customs was also heard.

There has been an overwhelming request from some of the people in the community of Delaware County that members of the SGP have been invited back and will continue to work with the citizens of the community to better understand what people are experiencing and possibly come to a mutual agreement on how to handle what is going on.

November 2016 Fall Kiamichi Mountains Adventures Field Expedition

The first fall 2016 field expeditions got under way the last of October with one heck of a weekend. There were little over 10 people in attendance.

The first night was absolutely unbelievable even by the expedition's guide's expectations. The group traveled to their destination and within minutes there were sounds that most could not identify as to what animal or "thing" were making the sounds. One person reported seeing what he described as a small red light within meters of the base camp's position. The group split into several small 2-3 person teams to travel the cleared paths in the woods nearby the base camp to see what was roaming in the woods. Note: the group travels to these areas via 4 wheelers and side-by-side ATVs for ease and to scare away most critters. It is easier to identify sounds in the woods as to what is not making the sounds specially if the deer and other small varmints are scared off by the sounds of people in the woods. Typically most depart the area to leave only the expedition attendees and "visitors" creeping through the woods.

About an hour into it, just about everyone in the group reported seeing large up-right "man-like" figures approaching from various directions, one small group was charged at from estimated distance of about 10-12 feet, it was bi-pedal and moved very quickly, it moved off to the side of the group and remained there for some time. Several other group members said the could see head and shoulders about 7 feet off the ground in the same spot as to where the sound had stopped moving. Two hours later several small groups were attempting to find each other in the rather dense forest. One two man team was charged again by something very large and bi-pedal this time it moved to within feet of them and again moved off to the side and stopped.

The nigh finished in array of sounds, whoops, screams, and whistles, even one sound veteran expedition guides were unable to label as to what it was or what made the sound.

The second night was just as impressive as the first, all though no "bluff-charges" as some call it, but the night was filled with audio sounds both far and near, eye shine was the highlight of the night, rock throwing as something was hitting the top of a old well building near by causing some to jump from the rather quite to "bam" as rain of rocks fell. Two members were lucky enough to see several small up-right figures just yards away moving about in the woods. Husband and wife team observed very large figure with eye shine move away from them, estimated to be little less than 15-20 yards away.

2016 Honobia Bigfoot Conference and Festival Out Did It Again

This year (2016) the organizers and volunteers out done themselves at Honobia Bigfoot Conference and Festival. Last year we researched the numbers and it sat with just over 2,900 people in attendance for both days. This year it was little harder to try and capture the attendance with the return of the Choctaw Bigfoot 5K Run. There was just over 800 + registered to run, the totals are not in yet, but some involved in the race gave a mental picture of more than 700. The attendance in the conference portion was well over last year's numbers, so far the organizers of the festival and conference are reporting numbers well into the high 3,800s if not just over 4,000 in attendance. We will post soon as everything is confirmed.

Soon as more information is available we will post, enjoy some of the pics from the event.

Kiamichi Mountains Adventures (April 2016) Bigfoot Expedition Report

Date: April 2016

Location: Honobia, Ok

Expedition Attendees: 11

Weather: Clear and sunny during the day
Fair and little moon at night

This particular expedition was attended by several 2nd and 3rd timers. One group traveled from northern Oklahoma to attend their first expedition.

First night was the new attendees getting familiar with the area, breaking the group down into smaller groups of 5 and 6 members in each, several members of one group heard large footsteps walking just to the side of them in the heavy under brush. They also reported heavy breathing and a "huffing" sound as if something very large was breathing out its mouth.

During the same time frame the other group was just over 100 yards away and had one rock thrown at the feet of one member and two others observed something (5'6 or 5'9) cross a small path of to the side of the group. They also reported hearing footsteps all around their location.

The rest of the night was spent trying to discern what was either owl calls or vocalizations of something running through the woods.

Second night was at a different location, very little occurred in the beginning upon arrival, however just after one member made a vocalization there was repeated return calls similar to the one made by the expedition member. Several rocks were thrown near two of the members, one said he saw "something big squat down and crawl away" he said it was little over 80 yards away in some high grass near the tree line that the rocks appeared to have been thrown from.

The rest of the night was filled with rocks being thrown at several other members (very small rocks), the location where this had taken place was a stretch of dirt road along a creek, no trees over the road and large open field between the tree line and the members. Several spent most of the night attempting to explain the rocks, they couldn't wrap their minds around something throwing small pebble size rocks more than 100 yards with great accuracy.

It wasn't till all returned to the base camp that the night was well worth the trip for some. After arriving some stayed outside and built a fire and others went in for the night. The next morning it was learned that the ones staying up late observed one large upright man like figure cross a barbed wire fence and walk behind one of the structures on the base camp property. The distance was examined the next morning and estimated 200 yards away. There was some light from a distance structure that help illuminate the area making it little easier to see. The member described the figure as extremely large and with the help of the side of the structure's window ledge it was estimated to be 9 feet tall.  They said it never showed it's self again after they saw it walk behind the structure.

Final Notes: All in all a very good expedition, some walked away believers and some walked away wanting to come back next year.

Good News in the Wind

It has been slow uploading sighting reports and posting information about the Honobia Conference. Sorry for that, we have been very busy, we are in the process of attending meetings with some organizations (we will announce later) to further the Honobia Bigfoot School Scholarship program.

It has always been a vision of Tom Hefner (Inspirational leader of the scholarship program) to extend the scholarships out into other school districts. Very soon members of the scholarship board will be meeting with a very large government entity to expand the scholarships. We will post the story soon as it becomes available.

Coal County, Oklahoma maybe getting their own Bigfoot conference and festival next year (2017) it is being discussed with numerous interested parties that it is very possible that in March of next year the Coal County area may have their very own conference, festival, and school scholarship programs. These events will not be in competition with Honobia, it will only benefit each other in the future. More information will be coming down the road soon as certain business developments have taken place.

Investigative File Case 002-2016 "Atoka County Sighting"

Investigative File Case 002-2016 "Atoka County Sighting"

Closed Case File: 002-2016
Location: SE Oklahoma (Atoka County)

Case Type: Eye Witness Observed a Tall Bigfoot Walk Across the Highway

Time Frame: 2014 (April)

Investigator: Troy Hudson, Sasquatch Genome Project

This report was submitted to the investigator by mutual friend of a friend. The eyewitness is employed by the state of Oklahoma and was driving on county road in far northeast portions of Atoka County when he was coming around a curve on the road and observed a tall large upright figure walking on two legs cross in front of his vehicle approximately 30 yards away.

This sighting occurred in late April in the evening just before sunset, he observed the figure for no more than 3-5 seconds. He describes this figure to be no less than 8 feet tall and possibly 400-500 lbs, it had dark brown hair covering all of his body, he didn't get to see the face area, described the arms and shoulders to be very muscular. What strikes the eyewitness to the point he knew it wasn't someone playing games dressed in a costume, he sad it took three (3) steps to get across the road.

Further investigation revealed that this area of the county road is exactly 20 feet across, an attempt to move across this area in a normal stride was very difficult in 3 steps. The witness also made not of the fact that who or whatever this was, moved with grace and fluidness that led him to believe that it wasn't a man in a costume, that it was most likely a Bigfoot, he said he has never seen one but heard stories from locals that they have been seen in this area for more than 20 years.

Investigator's Notes:   This investigator works not very far from this location and is very knowledgeable of Bigfoot activity in this area of the county. Coffee shop talk has given some indications that there are several Bigfoots that have been observed over the past 6-7 years in this immediate area near this portion of the county road.

Honobia Bigfoot School Scholarship (Tom Hefner) Raises Money for Area Students

2016 Year starting out with high hopes. The Honobia Bigfoot School Scholarship Fund has teamed up again with members of the Honobia Bigfoot Conference staff, the Talihina Public Schools, Clayton Public Schools, Smithville Public Schools, and local Masonic Lodges to raise money for area students. The proceeds go towards seniors that are planning to attend any college of their choice.

There was $5,000 raised at Clayton and $2,400 raised at Talihina. These fund raisers are pie auctions and dinners supported by volunteers that give up their evenings to help a great cause. This is one of a kind school scholarships program that we know of. There are other educational institutions that are interested in what is going on here in SE Oklahoma. There is a university in Tennessee that has been watching our progress, they are coming to SE Oklahoma to learn who, what, where, how, and why we do what we do. They want to replicate the scholarship program into their own communities. We know of no other program like this in North America where a Bigfoot Organization is leading the path for high school students to further their education by raising money to attend a higher level of education.

There are plans to expand the scholarship program into other schools in SE Oklahoma. Tom Hefner is the President and Founder of the Honobia Bigfoot School Scholarship Fund, he deserves all the credit. Thank You Tom!

Investigative File Case 001-2016 "Field Survey Employee Has Sighting"

Investigative File Case 001-2016 "Field Survey Employee Has Sighting"

Closed Case File: 001-2016
Loation: SE Oklahoma (Atoka County)

Case Type: Eye Witness Observed a Extremely Tall Bigfoot

Time Frame: 2015 (November)

Investigator: Troy Hudson, Sasquatch Genome Project

This report was submitted to the investigator in December of 2015 via mutual friend of the Field Surey Employee. It was only until March of 2016 that the investigator was able to meet up with the survey employee to hear his account.

The survey employee works for a general contractor of a large power company. The employee surveys areas for future job sites of the power company. Sometmes these locations are remote in nature, meaning the employee has to travel either by foot or by ATV to reach the survey location. This particular day was in the evening of late November, as the employee remembers it was late in the afternoon and within minutes of the sun setting.

The employee traveled by ATV to reach this location which was estimated about 1 and half miles from any road and little over 3 miles from any occupied home. The employee was to survey a open area next to a powerline (right-a-way) and is bordered by heavy woods on both sides. When he stepped out of the ATV (side by side) and turned it off he immediately heard something moving fast through the treeline on the opposite side of the clearing from where he had parked. He thought of deer or possible hog in the begining. However when he started to get his equipment out of the ATV he heard a loud knock, he described it as if someone struck a tree with a baseball bat. He yelled in the direction to see if someone was messing with him. He saw briefly through the trees something upright and very large walking, it was far enough back into the treeline he couldn't make out exactly what or who it was, he knew immediatley it was not a deer or hog.

He then heard a small grunt to his left, he looked up the hill from his position and observed a very tall upright shadow (as he described it) standing just outside the treeline (est 80-100 yards). He only saw it for 2-4 seconds, he described it has very large, huge shoulders, big head and very long arms. The daylight had started to fade, and what he remembers is that the color may have been a black or dark brownish color, he said it was covered in hair and could not see any facial features. He turned his attention to the second one across from him and lost sight of it, he immediately packed his things and departed in the ATV.

The employee never reported the event to his company or fellow employees, he returned two days later with another survey employee. Nothing occured during his return. He had only told a friend that knew of this investigators background and reported it.

Investigator's Notes: This location is well known to the investigator as it has long time history of sightings and activity. The survey employee's accounts are consistant with other eyewitnessess that have had sightings in this areas in the past. Two Sasquatches are seen and the eye witnessess is uneasy of seeing two Sasquatches in the same location. Typically the eye witnesses are alone when these occur.

Kiamichi Mountains Adventures (Honobia) Expeditions Continue to Flourish

The Kiamichi Mountains Adventures (KMA) is a private organizations that is made up of members from various backgrounds that have extensive field experience in investigating Sasquatch sightings and activity for over a decade. Some of the members have been organizing, conducting, and leading Sasquatch field expeditions into the Kiamichi Mountains for more than 10 years.

This year (2016) has proven to what ever the members of KMA have been doing in the past and present are working. Expedition attendees continue to have sightings, hearing the most strangest of sounds, and the unexplained. Note: Not everyone is seeing a Bigfoot, but some do, some attendees travel from all over the world, for example in 2013 small group traveled from Sweeden, some have came from Canada. Here in the US there is Florida, Illinois, Ohio, California, Colorado, Idaho, Texas, Arkansas, and Utah.

In addition to leading field expeditions, the KMA have been involved in numerous field investigations where private citizens have reported strange activity near their homes. Examine our Field Investigation Files here in the blog for further information.

The 2016 spring expeditions are almost over, the summer is just to hot and miserable to be out in the woods. The KMA will start taking reservations or the fall 2016 expeditions soon. If you are interested contact immediatley the slots go fast.

1st Expedition of the Year-March 2016 (Honobia, Oklahoma)

Kiamichi Mountains Adventures brings in the new year with a bang. Even though it is March, it is the first field expedition for the year.

15 people attended the March expedition from all over the US. Not only Oklahoma, some traveled from Florida, Kansas, and Southern Texas. Some attended 4 days, the amount of activity was as always difficult to predict.

The first night was a huge discovery for some, lots of eyeshine with extremely tall dark upright figures walking on the ridge line up above the main base camp. Later the next day several members attempted to re-create the size and speed of what was observed walking on the ridge line, only to discover who or what was up there was very tall and had abilities to cover very uneasy terrain and speeds we (humans) are unable to accomplish.

Second night was experienced with little less activity, however the observations of more eyeshine and dark figures moving about in the woods near the base camp were enough to spark more interest into what is really going on in the woods. Few whoops and screams were head. Later into the night after everyone went to bed, few attendees heard several screams near the locations where everyone was sleeping.

Third night several other attendees arrived and experienced their own dark upright figures, eyeshine, howls, and strange whistles near the base camp. One individual had a rock land just inches away from him, several others were standing several yards away and was witness to the event. Several heard loud screams and one moan after everyone turned in for the night. The strange whistles were the highlight of the night. Several attendees on this trip have remarkable outdoors hunting and field experience. They could not come to a conclusion on what or who was making the continuous whistling sounds. Group of 10 were attempting to start a small fire at a remote camp when a low but very audible growl was heard by half the group. Two young ladies were standing just feet from where the growl came from, immediate search of the area revealed that no bear, mountain lions, wild hogs or wild dogs were present.

Fourth night was not as active, but not to disappoint, there was eyeshine, return calls of whoops made by some of the children that attended. Couple of rocks landed near some as the night went on. One person placed apples on the hood of his vehicle and the next morning two were discovered more than 50 yards away from the vehicle. Unknown who or what was the responsible for the moving of the apples.

All in all a very active and educational weekend for everyone. Friendships were made and best of all everyone walked away with their own stories of what they heard and saw.

M.K. Davis

For nearly twenty years M.K.Davis has studied and analyzed iconic films using imaging techniques that he learned in astro-photography. These techniques have resulted in some of the clearest and most stable versions of these films available.

M.K. has always believed that such films as the Patterson Bigfoot film and the Kennedy assassination films might tell their own stories if the best versions were properly treated and rendered. This has mostly been the case.

His work with the Patterson Bigfoot film has taken him far and wide across the country. He has researched the area where the film was shot and taken his own video of a possible Sasquatch there back in 2008.

M.K. has been privileged to have worked with the Abraham Zapruder assassination film and also with the Orville Nix assassination film as well which has produced much new data about that event.

M.K. lives in Mississippi with his wife Debbie. They have raised four children.

M.K. has a youtube channel greenwave2010fb and a blog site thedavisreport.wordpress.com . Most of the videos are submitted for analysis and are left up to the viewer to be the judge of it.
