Investigative File Case 004-2015 "Campers Hear Sasquatch Stealing Food from Cooler"

Open Case File  004-2015

Location: SE Oklahoma (Near Clayton, Ok)

Case Type: Eye Witnesses Observed Sasquatch (s)

Time Frame: 2014 (Late Spring)

Investigator: Troy Hudson, Sasquatch Genome Project

This report was submitted to the investigator by eye witness through "friend of a friend" connections. This eye witness wishes to remain unknown to the public due to his profession. He has heard stories of people's negative outcomes from "telling their stories of seeing a Bigfoot".  This investigator has nicknamed this witness "Karl" for the purpose of the public report. Karl and his wife traveled 3 hours to the Clayton, Ok area to camp and take a weekend off from the busy city life. Karl has experience as a small/big game hunter and has traveled to Africa to hunt big game numerous times. Karl appears to this investigator as not one that frightens easily by being in the woods at night time. Karl's wife is also very comfortable being in the wilderness, she has taken part on several hunting trips herself to Montana and Alaska. They are both considered to be veteran woodsman.

This particular weekend was very pleasant, day temperatures in the high 80s and night time down into the upper 70s, full moon, and clear. They camped at a location that has public access and according to their recollection that there were no other campers of human presence the whole weekend any where near their campsite.

It was the second night that took them from being non-believers of Bigfoot to full-blown 100% no doubt that they are real. The second day started out like the first, they were up at the crack of dawn, cooked breakfast, went for a hike, and fished the rest of the day until it was little warm and the fish stopped biting. They didn't not hear or see anything out of the ordinary the first day and the second day, except until they had went to bed in their tent, they had stored most of their food they had in storage containers and their vehicle. But the fish they had caught, they cleaned down by the water's edge and wrapped them and put them in their cooler, which was sitting on the tailgate of their truck. The wife said it was about 3:00 AM when she was woken by a uneasy feeling and could hear something rummaging through the items on the picnic table just 10-12 feet from their tent. She first thought it was raccoons or some other critter. Then she heard a grunt and a faint voice like sound, as if something was trying to remain quiet but speak softly. What she described made the hair on back of her neck stand up and she softly pushed on Karl to wake him up. He did, she covered his mouth so he wouldn't speak so whatever was outside their tent would hear him. The wife was afraid it was something other than a critter and it was speaking in a voice she couldn't understand, she also described the grunt as "unnerving" in nature. Karl's side of the story starts that, he was awakened with a hand over his mouth and the look of terror on his wife's face, he said it took him a few seconds to focus on what she was trying to relay non-verbally. He then could hears something open the cooler lid and the sounds of someone trying to sift through the cooler as it was looking for something. He immediately thought it was a trespasser and he was going to intervene in their attempt to steal food from their cooler.

Karl moved quickly to push his wife's hand away from his mouth and unzip the tent and scare the would be trespassers. When he moved the sounds outside stopped immediately, as he was unzipping the tent fly (door) he could hear grunting and some other type of language he didn't recognize, as he threw open the tent flap he turned his flashlight towards the area where the cooler was sitting on the tailgate, the cooler lid was up and he then spun his flashlight towards the sounds of movement towards the picnic table, what he saw next caused him to gasp and let out a "what the %^&". His wife pushed him aside to see out the tent. Karl's description is as follows:

One was very large, black all over, walked like a human, the head was very large, and was being followed by something that looked just like it but maybe 3 feet smaller. The large one was in his mind estimated to be at the least 8-9 feet tall, the small one no less that 5-6 feet tall. He observed them from the back, they walked swiftly in the dark, tree line and never heard a sound after that.

Karl's wife described what she saw was extremely big, she states the big one had to be no less than 9 feet tall, he brother is 7 feet tall and she said this thing was at least 2 feet taller than her brother. She couldn't see the other one due to her husband taken up most of the space in the door way of the tent, but she did say there was two of them.

Karl said to his wife "I will be &^^( do you know what we just saw, that was Bigfoot". Karl's wife said she wanted to leave that she couldn't stay here knowing they were just in their camp. When Karl started to pack the truck, he notice that package of fish was only thing missing from the cooler. They stopped to get gas in a small town hour from this location and the store clerk notice that Karl was moving fast and seemed to be agitated. Karl remembers the clerk asking if everything was "Ok?" Karl said he told the clerk that they had a run in with something big in in their camp and it stole their daily catch. The clerk responded with from what he remembers as "oh don't worry it was just Bigfoot they do that every now and then". That sealed the deal for Karl, when he arrived home, for the next few months he visited every website and TV show that was about Bigfoot. He and his wife are believers, but one thing stands out in both their minds, what they saw demanded respect and was not to be messed with. Karl described the Big one as something that took whatever it pleased, but didn't want a confrontation, and left without being told to do so. Karl's wife said she will never forget the language she heard and that grunt is like a nightmare, she never heard anything like it.

Investigator's Notes: Both were interviewed over the phone and their story likeness has been heard over and over again by campers alike. In my opinion and through my lengthy law enforcement experience as having prior criminal investigative experience there were no deception noted on both of the witnesses. Their descriptions and voice demeanor were true and full of sincerity.  This location is near a state park and has decades of reports of Bigfoot activity in and around campsites. This investigator played previous recordings of possible Bigfoot sounds, language and grunts. She was overwhelmed by the sounds that it caused her to relive (also known in medical terms as PTSD) that night. She said she still has trouble sleeping sometimes when she hears a sound in the house that is similar, she was worried that being a year ago that this still troubles her. This investigator talked at length with her explaining she is not alone in all of this, this investigator has investigated reports of similar and even myself have memories of my own experiences that keep coming back that I have had that parallel their night at the campsite. She was assured that she is not going crazy, and mere the fact that very few people ever get to have that type of experience, she was also told very few people get to see a Bigfoot and for the fact two at the same time. They have been invited to attend an field expedition to learn more about the topic and maybe a chance to ease their minds that there are other people that have shared their experiences. Kinda like a AA for Bigfoot witnesses.

Note: Witnesses of Sasquatch are sometimes laughed at, made fun of, mocked and ridiculed for their stories of what they have seen and heard. It is known that 2 out of 3 witnesses will never tell anyone on what they saw and heard, for the fear of the above. Sometimes the witnesses is so overcome with emotion of the experience that it often manifest into what the medical field calls PTSD (post traumatic stress syndrome). Half the world claims Bigfoot is no more than a figment of our imagination, miss-identification, our eyes playing tricks on our minds, etc. However when you see one or have had an experience such as Karl and his wife, it will stop you in your tracks and play over and over in your mind like a traumatic event, because remember your told Bigfoot does not exist, BUT WAIT, you just saw one with your own eyes, and you have a witness with you to back up what you just saw!

Honobia Bigfoot Club Raises Money for Area Students. Fundraiser This Month in Talihina, Oklahoma

Tom Hefner (Honobia Bigfoot Scholarship Fund)

Bigfoot will help send Talihina students to college.

A fundraiser Thursday, April 30, will raise scholarship money for graduating college-bound Talihina seniors.

Talihina’s Masonic Lodge # 73 voted Monday night to back the scholarships with $1,000 in matching funds, said Tom Hefner, head of the Bigfoot Scholarship Fund.

A dinner and pie auction will be held at 6:30 pm Thursday, April 30, at the Talihina school.   All proceeds will go to scholarships for Talihina seniors, he said.

“For every dollar you spend,” Hefner said of the fundraiser, “We will take in two, up to $1,000.”

The plate dinner will be $5. The pie auction will follow.

In March, a Bigfoot Scholarship pie supper in Clayton raised over $4,600.   With a $500 gift from Masons there and other donations, a check for $5,398 was given to Clayton for scholarships.

Hefner asked Talihina cooks to help students here with pies for the auction.

Last May, $500 Bigfoot scholarships were given to Clayton, Talihina and Smithville schools for scholarships.  But, money raised at the Talihina event will all go to Talihina students, Hefner emphasized.

Bigfoot – or a close impersonator – appears in area parades and festivals.

Will Bigfoot appear in Talihina for the pie supper April 30?

No official word had been received at press time for this story.

Would Bigfoot approve of a pie supper in his name for Talihina students?

“I think it is wonderful the way we’ve put him to work for our kids,” Hefner said.  “I met him up on Gobblers’ Knob and he said it is okay.”
Hefner lives by Gobbler's Knob in Honobia, where the Bigfoot Scholarship Fund began.  They run the Bigfoot festival in October at Honobia and raise funds through Bigfoot t-shirt and coffee mug sales.

Breaking News! The 2015 Honobia Bigfoot Conference Speakers

This year's (2015) Honobia Bigfoot Conference Speakers have been announced by the Honobia Bigfoot Club and the Honobia Bigfoot Conference Committee. (Not in any order) They are:

Harvey Pratt-

Harvey Phillip Pratt is an American forensic artist and Native American artist, who has worked for over forty years in law enforcement, completing thousands of composite drawings and hundreds of soft tissue postmortem reconstructions. To this end, his work has assisted in thousands of arrests and hundreds of identification of unidentified human remains throughout America. His expertise in witness description drawing, skull reconstruction, skull tracing, age progression, soft tissue postmortem drawing and restoration of photographs and videos have aided law enforcement agencies both nationally and internationally. Pratt also assists investigations though training classes, besides lecturing before universities, colleges, schools and civic groups.
Pratt began his career with Oklahoma's Midwest City Police Department in 1965, where, as a police officer, he completed his first composite drawing that resulted in an arrest and conviction. He joined the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation in 1972 as a narcotics investigator and retired in 1992 as an Assistant Director. He is now employed with the agency as a full-time forensic specialist.
Pratt's forensic expertise has contributed to many high-profile cases: The Green River Killer (Gary Ridgeway), Oklahoma Girl Scout Murders (Gene Leroy Hart), Henry Lee Lucas and Ottis Toole, Bobby Joe Long, The I-5 Killer (Randall Woodfield), Tommy Ward and Karl Fontenot, Tommy Lynn Sells, World Trade Center 1993 bombings, Ted Bundy, Sirloin Stockade Murders (Roger Dale Stafford, Verna Stafford and Harold Stafford), Joe Fischer, Roger Wheeler murder, the Oklahoma City bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, Donald Eugene Webb, Oklahoma State Fair Abducted Girls (Roy Russell Long), and Randolph Dial.
In the mid 1980s, Pratt developed the soft tissue postmortem drawing method. Using this method, the forensic artist draws or paints on the photograph of a victim to repair tissue damage or decomposition. The drawing repairs the trauma to the victim so that the final image will be more presentable when asking for law enforcement's or the public's assistance in identification.

Both Harvey and David have spoken at Honobia multiple times in the past together. This surely will be a treat to hear them again.

Scott Nelson-

Scott Nelson retired from the Navy after a 17-year career as a crypto-linguist, intercepting Russian communications and decoding them. Currently, he is a professor at Wentworth College in Missouri.
"Because of what I did in the Navy, spending years and several thousand hours speeding the human voice up and slowing it down, I could just detect language in those vocalizations," he said.
The vocalizations were captured on audiotape in the Sierra-Nevada Mountains by a group of hunters in the early 70s. Nelson came across them a few years ago while helping his son write a paper on Bigfoot.
"I said, 'Stevie there's language here.' He said, 'Dad, how can that be? It sounds like a bunch of apes fighting to me.' I said, 'We have to slow it down, like dad used to do in the Navy.'"
When that happened, Nelson said he instantly knew three things about the sounds he was hearing. No. 1, he was hearing a language; No. 2, it was not human; and No. 3, it was not fake.
It was at that point Nelson became a Bigfoot believer and researcher

Ron Morehead

Ron Morehead is an ‘adventurist’; a positive ‘someone’ who loves life, but often lives it on the edge. As a SCUBA diver, he swam with the hammerhead sharks, has been filmed in Mexico’s Pacific Ocean riding the backs of giant manta rays, and been a safety diver for the filming of Right whales in Patagonia.
As a private pilot, Ron has flown his own aircraft from the Alaskan bush to the Costa Rican jungle. Besides travelling to the ancient Mayan civilizations in the Yucatan, he has also flown into a remote jungle area of Chiapas (Southern Mexico) on an anonymous Mayan discovery expedition. What he saw was thought to be one of the last remaining strong-holds of the Mayan people. He has ventured into Western Nepal’s Suklaphanta Wildlife Reserve to help assess the tiger population, explored the jungles of Bardiya on elephants, and been in the wilderness of Siberia looking for evidence of the Russian Yeti. He has made two trips in South America exploring the enigmatic structures and the non-human remains of the pre-Inca people.
Over the years Ron has been interviewed by several radio programs and has been televised by the BBC and other learning channels. He was a guest speaker at the Darwin Museum in Moscow (Russia) and for years he has given presentations at symposiums and conferences about his Bigfoot/Sasquatch experiences. He has openly shared his knowledge and accounts with others. His book, “Voices in the Wilderness,” chronicles his 40 years of researching the enigma. Besides his book, he has produced two CDs with actual Bigfoot vocalizations, focusing on the interaction he and others had with these forest giants.

Interview with a Tribal Elder (Oklahoma) #2015-02

This particular interview was conducted in the early fall of 2012. The Tribal Elder lives in western Oklahoma, however resides in SE Oklahoma. He was introduced to one of our conference staff/investigators just after the 2011 Honobia Bigfoot Conference. The interview took just over a  year to plan due to the Tribal Elder's reluctance to talk to any about Bigfoot he didn't know personally. Names and locations have been changed to protect the privacy of the Tribal Elder and others related to these events.

Article S-OK #2015-02

Location- SE Oklahoma near Coal County

Time: Late Afternoon (November)

Purpose of interview: This particular Tribal Elder was put in contact with a investigative member of the Honobia Bigfoot Conference staff for the sole reason for the Elder to share his knowledge of the Sasquatch. Interview as follows:

Investigator: It is great to meet your Sir and my name is (********) and I understand you have some knowledge that you have been holding onto for many years. (Respect offering was handed to the elder, small bag of tobacco).

Elder: Good morning, (********) and yes I was told you had respect to the people and you were someone I could trust. What is this? (look at the small bag)

Investigator: I was raised this way, this is a offering of my gratitude and respect.

Elder: (He looked at he bag and back at me)....said I am very touched, (took the small bag and put it in his shirt pocket)...paused...what would you like to know.

Investigator: I was raised around a lot of different type of people, mainly tribal family's...I am from (*******) Oklahoma and spent the last 8 years learning all I can about the Tall People, that is what I call them. I have heard from many different tribal communities and I am always interested in what others say or feel about the Tall People.

Elder: You are correct that you call them Tall People. I was always told they are a people. Some of my elders from many years ago, called them "The People from the Beginning". They are very old and some people do not understand their position within our ring of life.

Investigator: "Ring of Life", I have heard this, something like a "Circle of Life" the "Medicine Wheel"

Elder: Yes, you understand, the circle of a tribe and family is always connected, it is continuous, but you understand this term?

Investigator: Yes sir, I do, it was described to me by a friends grandfather back when I was very young and I have only heard it used few times by some elders years back.

Elder: That is the problem, this younger generation has no idea of the importance of our way of life and that tradition is being wasted away and the knowledge of our traditions, language, and even the simple way to stay in the "ring of life" is going to be lost soon.

Investigator: Everyone is fascinated by Bigfoot and the whole atmosphere around the search and the science of trying to prove their existence. What is your thoughts of what you know or what you think about trying to prove they are real to the world?

Elder: First let me tell you what I know and I will answer that, it may help you when I answer your question. First you must understand, the knowledge that some of my grandfathers related to Bigfoot or the Heavens is being lost and drifting away, no one has respect for the true knowledge, all people want is something they can use to make a movie or a million dollars off some old Indian that said this is who it was or something like that. My grandfather said that the Sasquatch is only the beginning of this, he called them "The People from the Beginning", I think he called them this because he was relating them to the beginning of time, the beginning of the Red Man, the Indian.
The Great Creator (pointing towards the sky with his finger) God created man and woman, he also had created someone to watch out over us, after the flood, you know the Bible correct?

Investigator: Yes sir I do.

Elder:.........these people (Sasquatch) are not animals to be treated as wild game or hunted, they are living creations of God's most elected, they have a purpose beyond our minds, they are feared because of their abilities and there size, they are what you would called "Giants of the Land" as it is often described in the Bible to some degree. But we have gotten away from tradition and gotten into this TV land of mystery and UFOs and Ghost hunting.

Investigator: I have been around different Bigfoot researchers and even been around some people that try and connect Bigfoot to UFOs. everyone is trying to make millions off the Bigfoot.

Elder:...(held up his hand) let me ask you, what do you think they are?

Investigator: I do believe they are older than we think, I think they were created by God and I do not think they are a monkey or great ape. I think they are here on earth for a reason we can not comprehend as humans, we do not understand these things because we are wrapped up in video games, cell phones and modern daily life to sit and realize our true existence.

Elder:...(he smiled) and pointed at me.....you are correct. To answer your first question...right now, our world is not ready to understand Bigfoot, they want to prove it like that lake monster, or UFOs and stuff, what people are not ready for is the truth, see that is what keeps our country from really growing, we have to many secrets and to many fake stories about or history. The Bigfoot is something that should not be chased or hunted. They have way they can protect themselves and people are chasing something that can really harm them, I am not saying break their arm, I am saying they can put the fear of God into you that you will have PTSD.

Investigator: I have talked with many witnesses and heard stories of people never stepping foot into the woods after their experience.

Elder: I know you have seen them, have you ever felt scared or had fear around them?

Investigator: Once I can remember that I was not welcomed and had the urgency to leave, most other times I always have a good experience.

Elder: I understand, most of the time you go to a place and they are already there or it doesn't take long for them to show up?

Investigator: Yes, that is true, I even went out of state to a location I never had been in my life and they showed up in the woods, I think I counted 3-4 dark figures with intense eye shine and several whoops at close range.

Elder: They trust someone like you, see they know your heart and your intentions they know who they want to be around. I can see it in your eyes you have a respect for them and for the understanding of life that some people will never grasp.

Investigator: What is your thoughts on their actual age and how long they live?

Elder: My grandfather and my uncle described one they use to see out near (*****) Western Oklahoma, they described the scar on its face and the way the color of his hair was, that was more than 65 years ago, and at that time the Bigfoot had been seen by other people prior to that, well it was just seen by two other elders about 40 miles from my grandfather's place two years ago. It is said this big male, maybe 10ft tall has been around our area for more than 80 years. I understand them to live more than 120 years. They don't have our cancer or our fast food, their way of life is the old way of life, their only danger and threat to life is us.

Investigator: I understand that, everyone is threatened by us.

Elder: Your conference is a great thing educated the people, but leave the science and TV to the people in California, do as you have been, learn and help people understand that they are to be left alone and respected, not to be hunted. We will talk more one day, thank you for the gift son (he pointed at his pocket)

Conclusion: There are a lot of similar things this particular elder said and referred to. It is usually the same with a lot of people. They are to be left alone and respected, there is more to learn, the Tribal Elders of our tribes have knowledge that is not being passed on, I am trying to make it a mission to save the knowledge about the Sasquatch. I know three different tribal communities that have Sasquatch activity near them, the newer age of tribal youth have no interest in the "old ways" they are stuck on Ipods and Facebook. Through various areas of the Sasquatch Genome Project (DNA) there has been several Tribal Elders consulted about there knowledge of the Sasquatch, it seems from all over North America the word is the same, they are a type of People and they were created by the same God that created us. Stay tuned for more interviews.

Interview with a Tribal Elder (SE Oklahoma) #2015-01

This year (2015) we will start a new article called "Sit Down with an Elder" few of our staff have tribal affiliations with two tribal nations within Oklahoma. They have over the last few years conducted "sit downs" interviews with tribal elders from all over Oklahoma. Few have been no more than a friendly exchange of stories that have led to some rather productive sighting investigations in and around tribal property throughout the State of Oklahoma. This first article is about a Tribal Elder that was recently interviewed by one of our staff members just few weeks ago. Certain portions of the names, locations, and descriptions are changed or left out due to the respect and privacy of land owners as well as the request of the Tribal Elder's.

Article SE-OK #2015-01

Location- SE Oklahoma near Atoka County

Time: Late Afternoon (February)

Purpose of interview: This particular Tribal Elder was put in contact with a investigative member of the Honobia Bigfoot Conference staff for the sole reason for the Elder to pass on information about on-going Sasquatch activity at a rural home near far North-Western Pushmataha County/Atoka County Line. Interview as follows:

Investigator: What was your reason to contact me reference these activities at the "______" residence?

Elder: I visited the Honobia Bigfoot Festival few years ago and I observed you speak and I know you are very familiar with the Sasquatch. I wanted you and your team to understand more of what is really going on in our woods. Maybe your already know, maybe you don't.

Investigator: Sir, I am very deeply moved with your confidence in me and allowing me to listen to your wisdom on this matter, thank you and Yakoke. (I gave my respect offering, it is always a tradition that when you visit an Tribal Elder to bring a offering, such as tobacco or fruit/vegetables basket of something similar to show respect your respect to them allowing you to be there)

Elder: I grew up here in SE Oklahoma, as I was a child I was told of many legends of our tribe. There are so many people just ignore and see as a fantasy in the Indian's mind. See people think the old Indians are made up of living in the past and not in touch with today's reality. Our history is what brought us here and our history is what made us who we are. Legends or made up spirit mombo jumbo what ever they want to call it is real. The "spirit walkers" the "shiftshapers" "shadow people" and the "bigfoot" as the TV calls Sasquatch.

Investigator: I see the people's faces when I have talked about the spiritual aspects of our world that has a connection to the Sasquatch and their face tell me, they are just not interested or they think this is what I read in a book or heard a Elder tell me sitting at a campfire while we drum and sing. People sometimes just think we make all this stuff up to sale tickets to our conference or to sale a book.

Elder:(He raised his hand as if for me to stop) They will never understand unless they have seen it, or have the experience you and I have had. See people are so caught up in technology and what is going on in China or Russia, they hardly care what goes on in our own backyards.

Investigator: I understand there is a family not far from here that has some really strange things going on?

Elder: Yes, they do not want anyone at there land and they do not want there names told.

Investigator: I understand.

Elder: These people are my blood (means they are relatives of the elder)The activity started back in early 1990s with strange sounds, human like screams and whistles near their home, either late in the evening or just after sunrise. The kids often describe seeing standing bears in the woods near the property fence line. The father had asked me back then one night if Bigfoot was in his neck of the woods. I told him, the Bigfoot are where ever they want to be.

Investigator: When was the first time the father actually got to see one?

Elder: It was I think either the summer or fall of 1994-95, I know it was because it was in and around the time of the Oklahoma City Bombing.

Investigator: Who all in the family has seen them?

Elder: Everyone over the years, and here just before Christmas I was there and saw one at the edge of the woods near the road. (The elder lowered his head and raised it) these things are very powerful, you see they are not from here, they are here however to help us, we are just missing the message, we are not paying attention to our world and what it means to live in and on it.

Investigator: You mean ignore the whole reason why God put us on this earth? Why the Bigfoot are even here and why they appear to certain people?

Elder: Yes, you know, you and few others know the why and you have tried to explain it to people, but they just turn around and laugh as they walk away thinking your just a "Indian wanabe" and your are caught up in the Bigfoot/Redman Indian dreams.

Investigator: Yes I have heard some rather funny labels and nicknames given to me over the years. But, go on please....

Elder: See the Tall People as you have been heard to say, is rather a proper name, most people see them as a monkey or missing link, they are a tribe of people, they have their own rituals, their own customs, they have even their own way they bury their dead. That is a culture, a tribe. I heard one of our own Elders say way back when I was a kid that the "tree people" as he called them were not here to scare us they are here to watch over us. They are much like us, they have similar problems as we do, but they will not help us because we have walked away from our own path. Do you understand?

Investigator: Yes Sir, we as a people have taken the meaning of "walking the path" the "red road" and taking everything for granted and not paying attention to what the Creator-God has done for us, I believe that the "Sasquatch" are a creations such as we are and that they have a purpose and we have a purpose but our co-purpose have gone different directions. I understand that their are references in the Bible about Sasquatch type-looking creatures, but no mention of the real identification. People laugh at the implications and really try and take a scientific approach to their existence.

Elder: We will talk about the Bible and why they are created another time, to much to tell you here and now. The people living at this property have their hands full with the whole thing that the Sasquatch that moves about in these mountains, you see the Kiamichi and whole area of Oklahoma (pointing over his head and making a circle with his finger) are home to the Sasquatch and have been before we lived here. The family has seen so much of them and one night back, oh, maybe 5-6 years ago saw a very large one, they nicknamed "grandpa" he moved slow and slumped over, they said he was maybe about 9-10ft tall, they saw two different size females, their bodies are similar to ours, but just with more hair, they saw small ones like small children maybe 6-7 years old, and heard a dog bark and some of them turn around looking towards the ground clapping their hands as if how we do it when our family dog is walking with us in the woods. This time of day was just after sundown and it was still little light to barley see them in the woods, they are maybe 20-30 yards back just inside the woods near the family home. Their dog was tied up in the back yard and was barking crazy and trying to pull the pole down it was tied too. They said they watched them walk past, and disappear out of sight within few seconds.

Investigator: Could they hear them talking, or chatter?

Elder: One of the kids said they thought they heard some type of Spanish or French, their dog was barking so much they could barley hear them, but they said they could hear another dog barking from the direction of the Sasquatch in the woods.

Investigator: Interesting I have heard of reports of dogs being seen with Sasquatch.

Elder:(He laughs) Yes remember they have same feelings we do, they want companionship as we do, the dog is perfect, it has no video games and no TV, it is there for your love and friendship, see what I mean about us humans?

Investigator: Yes, it is perfectly said, we pay attention to our technology more than we pay attention to our friendship with each other and or animals that call us family.

Elder: I must run, but I will tell you this so you can think on it until the next time we talk, look at our lives how they are now, how did we live back then without TV and video games, what did we do then to survive, have we given up our way of life for quick pleasure or easy living. Next time we visit I will tell you why most people will never say they saw a Bigfoot, they are scared at what people will say to them. (He turned and walked away)

Conclusion: This "sit-down" was scheduled by someone that knew the elder and the investigator. The second interview was conducted just few days to this posting, it will be posted on this blog soon. More interviews will be posted in the future, and remember our Honobia Bigfoot Conference dates are October 2nd and 3rd 2015.

Sasquatch: "White Paper" Part Four

(Disclaimer: This article is not endorsed nor has no direct affiliation to the Honobia Bigfoot Club, Conference, and the Kiamichi Mountains Christian Mission)

This article has been written by one of the Honobia area Bigfoot field investigators, this particular investigator has more than 10 years experience and has been conducting research through hundreds of eye witness accounts, tribal stories and folklore, conducting more than 200 interviews, and his own experiences to come to write the Sasquatch: "White Paper" Part One, Two, and Three.

This particular White Paper is not in any form a professional answer to any or all the questions about Bigfoot, or as some people have heard me refer to them as a "Type of People", but truly are they a type of "people", some scientific research projects can trace certain aspects of DNA from suspected Bigfoot evidence that they have a connection to our DNA. This White Paper is not going to hold any scientific evidence as so called "truth" to their identity. The purpose of this White Paper is to ask the questions that very few want to ask and attempt to point the reader to his/her own conclusion. This investigator learned early on in his career that everyone has their own definition to who and what the Bigfoot really are. But is any of them correct? Maybe, maybe not! The whole reason most people get into this field or hobby is to prove they exist and to identify who and what they are. Some people get into this because they saw something in the woods or on the side of the road. Curiosity is what humans have that gets them into trouble most of the time. Why does it drives us crazy to get others to believe what we know, why is it our passion to get others to believe that Bigfoot exist? Some really do not care, but why do some people get so angry that some do not believe and some do nothing more than laugh and ridicule our belief's?

Flesh and Blood or Angelic Spirits?
Answer: It may never really be determined who or what they are. However in recent posts we discussed the Sasquatch Genome Project, like it or not, Dr. Ketchum has the scientific proof of their existence. You can read website after website, Facebook page after page, article after article, and listen to radio show after radio show. The argument is the same, some people believe they are ancient spirits from the days of Noah and some people believe they are nothing more than flesh and blood of a great ape. Either way they are seen by people throughout North America and from around the world everyday of the year. Hairy giants can be found in the Bible, is that the Bigfoot they are talking about or is it something else? You will find 50/50 people saying yes and no. Some scientist believe that they are descendants of the great ape Gigantopithecus. One particular incident that occurred way back in the early 2000s in SE Oklahoma resulted in unique opportunity for Bigfoot researchers to observe some interesting behavior of the Sasquatch in that area. There was family that was homestead just outside the community of Honobia, Oklahoma. Most residents within the Kiamichi Mountains of SE Oklahoma hunt year around for their survival during the harsh winter months. This particular year was specially brutal, this particular family had been experiencing theft of deer meat. The father of the family came to realization it was not humans, it was the resident Sasquatch that live in the area. Fact: Sometimes Sasquatch will steal food if it is easy available without any effort of the hunt. Specially if the Sasquatch have a family to feed just as we do.

Bigfoot researchers were called into help with this problem. One night a Sasquatch came to grocery shop from the families deer meat collection. Finding that the meat was not available for the pickings the Sasquatch decided to show their displeasure. The father was ready with large caliber rifle, this was a dark and rather moonless night. Father shot at the Sasquatch, a scream was heard and lot of noise came off the mountain top. Here is the link to the report filled by the research organization.
http://www.bfro.net/avevid/ouachita/siege-at-honobia.asp

One of our investigators was with this organization for a number of years, he is very well known throughout the Honobia Valley region. Our investigator re-opened the Honobia Siege case back in 2006. He talked with numerous residents and even the truck driver that had the sighting many hours later. It was learned that there was evidence that the Sasquatch attempted to render aid to the injured Sasquatch. After the shooting a examination of the area to which the Sasquatch departed and clumps of a sticky wax balls were found with blood and hair. (This is what was told by some of the residents that were privy to inside information) This technique is taught in some survival schools as a form of antiseptic. It comes from rolling pine sap or cedar sap for medicinal purposes.  http://prepforshtf.com/survival-uses-for-pine-resin/

Some of the residents that come from a tribal background often explain that their grandfather's said that the Sasquatch often traded with the Bigfoot for food and how to gain medicine knowledge. (Note: these are tribal stories) If this is so, this evidence of the Sasquatch using traditional plants and tree sap as medicinal treatment indicates the knowledge of survival medicine the same as we have for more than 2,000 years. I know some can well argue the fact that this is all made up to sensationalize the story. However to this day, some of the Honobia residents that have inside knowledge of the incident and were eyewitness to majority of the incident stand by their words on what happened that night.

Reason why this story is being brought up is it gives evidence that the Sasquatch are a type of creature, spirit, people-like, or whatever they are have survival skills, they respond to their fallen, unlike other animals will run when one of them scream and a shot is heard. Not this night, it is said that night of the shooting had a very profound "something in the air" the screams heard from the tops of the mountains and the uneasy way everyone's dogs and animals behaved, just as if something bad had happen some where in the valley.

Our investigator had also had a discussion with a former Honobia resident (He has since past) one night back in early part of 2007. They both were talking and the resident asked our investigator if he knew about the shooting back in 2000. He said "yes I do". The resident pointed towards a ridge south of Honobia and said "you see that ridge, beyond that ridge is where they buried that one that night". The investigator said "you mean to the west of the highway south of here". The resident went on to say "Yes you know where I am talking about, that was what the trucker saw the one carried the other across the road and up into those mountains" The investigator had talked with the truck driver back in 2006. The resident also indicated that the day after and few days following the shooting there was a lot of moaning, singing, and screams that no one in the valley had every heard before. It is said, they (Sasquatch) mourn after their dead just the same as we do.

Jumping forward to 2015, just after the first of the year our investigator has had numerous conversations with yet another tribal elder that grew up in western Arizona and lived on the Navajo Tribal reservation. He told stories that the way they perceive the Bigfoot as that they are shapeshifters something that can change shape and form of another animal. I won't go into great detail about what a shapeshifter is, you can read more here.
http://www.native-languages.org/shape-shifters.htm

This elder also said he had heard as a child that not all the Sasquatch are the same, some of good, he said he even heard that some Sasquatch are even here to help mankind and to be a watchman over us. There has been many legends of who and what the Sasquatch are, mainly within tribal stories where legends and myths are often describe. Either way the point is that there are some that are bad and some are good. Kinda just like the human race!

Conclusion: Neither science or the human mind will ever figure out who or what exactly the Sasquatch are or are not, in our opinion. One thing is clear however, they have children, walk on two legs, they have a type of language, they apparently care or render aid similar as we do, and it is said they mourn for their dead similar to how we do. What doe's that describe to you? I know some reading this will say "great story, but all made up". You can believe or not believe, but there is a small little community in SE Oklahoma that has lived with the knowledge of the "Tall People" that night of the Honobia Seige for more than 15 years. You will not tell them they do not exist, because they live just on the other side of the mountain where the truth lays.

Sasquatch: "White Paper" Part Three

(Disclaimer: This article is not endorsed nor has no direct affiliation to the Honobia Bigfoot Club, Conference, and the Kiamichi Mountains Christian Mission)

This article has been written by one of the Honobia area Bigfoot field investigators, this particular investigator has more than 10 years experience and has been conducting research through hundreds of eye witness accounts, tribal stories and folklore, conducting more than 200 interviews, and his own experiences to come to write the Sasquatch: "White Paper" Part One, Two, and Three.

This investigator learned early on in his career that everyone has their own definition to who and what the Bigfoot really are. But is any of them correct? Maybe, maybe not! Some really do not care, but why do some people get so angry that some do not believe and some do nothing more than laugh and ridicule our belief's?
Chasing Bigfoot: What will it get you?
Answer: This is particularly a difficult answer for some people to hear. Humans want to know about something, they examine it, they test it, they break it down, they blow it up, they put it in the lab for testing, they go out and research it, they.....this could go on for days. The point is, we as humans are curious by design, we have a mind that wants to know how, what, why, and what for. Bigfoot is no exception in the fact that we want to know everything about who, what, and why Bigfoot is real or why they exist. I once heard a tribal elder say "God created the universe, he created the stars and the moon, and people, did God create a book to teach us how it was made or why, do not challenge the creator in his creations, accept the creation, give thanks to the Creator and go on with your day".

I think what is being said here, is they exist as we do, if you were not handed a manual for the how's, why's, and how come's of what was created then accept it, give thanks, and carry out the rest of the day. I will not get in a deep discussions of the Bible, I know not everyone believes in God and what the Bible say's. I will say however there is many deep and sometimes "heated" discussions about what the Bible say's about "tall hairy people" of long ago. However related to this particular article is that we sometimes chase things that keeps us curious and sometimes we get side tracked and think of nothing but the chase and the target of our pursuit. Boil down to our belief's and what chasing Bigfoot will get you. It has been that some of our investigative staff have come to realize over a 8-10 year period that Bigfoot/Sasquatch is a spiritual being, which is of flesh and blood. However just like us humans we have a spirit and we are of flesh and blood. But when it comes to the "taller hairy" people of the mountains and forests then your chasing something (Bigfoot) that is said by some, that they are much closer to the spirit world than we are and in some instances that you maybe chasing something that doesn't want to have nothing to do with you and you may get "more than you wanted"<<< You will see this again.

I am not trying to go into "hokus pocus" or "witchcraft/voodoo" stuff, through some of our own experiences and well as hearing more than half of our witnesses, reading other accounts from all over North America and one instant from a foreign witness. We have come to a conclusion that there is a mystery of what evolves around the Bigfoot/Sasquatch that witnesses (intense encounters) experience very negative and sometimes traumatic events during and after the sighting (encounter).

We had visited a Indian reservation in northern Oklahoma few years ago and one of the elders often said "Be careful what you wish for, you may get more than you want" (<<<<see this again). What this elder meant was that we need to be very careful in the pursuit of our desires and flagrant human curiosity that most often puts us on a path of very negative outcomes and unwanted baggage that sometimes goes with chasing Bigfoot. I know three different people, that have lost their jobs (lifetime careers), vehicles, life savings, and even their relationships all over the pursuit of trying to prove to the world that Bigfoot exist. Two other incidents that we know of that two different people in different parts of North America have even had such negative experiences that they will never set foot in the woods at night ever again. One individual purchased more than $6,000 dollars of surveillance gear, and camping equipment, read every book and watched every TV show, not only to plan for months a week long visit and then get out to the woods, have some very traumatic experience happen and then leave all of it in the woods to never return to the site and to this day, never want to discuss what happened!  Now let it be said, these negative encounters are only made up of 3 out of 10 (in our stats) that this may happen. I know of just as many if not more than enough positive outcomes to warrant the individual to even purchase the land and build a home on the site where the Bigfoot activity is very well documented by the land owner.

What we are trying to say is, you can not be guaranteed what will happen when you go out into the woods, specially if you have never been out with a veteran researcher. Not all researchers are conducting themselves appropriately, not saying we here at the Honobia Bigfoot Conference staff are experts. We together have more than 80+ experience through trial and errors, we are just saying "be careful you may get more than you want"

Haunted forest? or Bigfoot activity?
Answer: Just as the topic above I don't want to get into the area of "witchcraft" or any "voodoo" stuff. But in regards to Bigfoot/Sasquatch if anyone has really researched witness accounts or has been doing their own field research you may have heard or experienced your own "weirdness" that sometimes is associated with Bigfoot. We will just stay to the facts in this case and leave certain areas of the "weirdness" up for another time.  Some of our field investigators have stumbled across Ghost Hunters and Paranormal Investigators over the years, they were in a area investigating Ghost accounts and Haunted state parks or heavily wooded areas. The same location where Bigfoot activity had been investigated, both were left with their own explanations. Strange sounds, screams, moans, rocks being thrown, sticks tapping on trees, and shadows moving amongst the trees. Well unfortunately that sounds like a Ghost/Haunted and or Bigfoot activity, depends on who you ask.

It has even been witness by two of our own investigator and as well as a dozen other witnesses that has seen a Ghost style image of a human being and then within minutes actual sighting of a Bigfoot near the same area. Now I am going to be very careful here, no one was transported to a "nut house" or given a psych evaluation, these events were discussed at great length by the witness and everyone that was at the location. Weirdness as it may seem, it did happen and til this day some still are trying to come to grips with what they exactly observed.

Tribal elders of some communities will tell you this "...they are of spirit, they can walk among the spirits of our time" translation, well that is sometimes misinterpreted by some people.  Other Tribal elders have said "....the old people are of spirit and of a place we can only wish to be". Some tribal people call them "the old people". The belief is that the Bigfoot are from many centuries ago and often out live us in years. Now again these are only tribal belief's and not everyone shares the same knowledge or belief's. What we can say is, that there is a weirdness to the Bigfoot that some people will describe and some will not talk about what they observed.

Not everyone believes in Ghost or Bigfoot, either way, some people will try and spend their every waking moment in the research of such phenomenon. Our advice be very careful in what you wish for...."you may just get something you are not wanting"<<<told you that you would see this again!

Conclusion: There are mysteries all over the world, some people spend their entire life chasing a mystery and sometimes come up short or broke or lonely for their efforts. You will never convince the world on something 100%. There is always someone that will oppose your efforts and your findings, that is what makes us humans. Even in our own staff not everyone believes the same as the other, but we find our friendship and our maturity that keeps us together working for the same goal......."to share with you what we know and what we do not know".
